For some reason, the law has become an interesting subject for me. Now, that thought itself is mad enough. But it’s all good.
Truth be told, as I’ve already said, this was all prompted by a crazy sounding law I’ve come across which I posted on my personal blog. Another odd bit about it was that I found it while studying computer science. Specifically, operating systems. More specifically, deadlocks.
According to this legislature from the 20th century:
“When two trains approach each other at a crossing, both shall come to a full stop and neither shall start up again until the other has gone.”
As for me, the only thing I can figure from that is a standstill. If you have somehow managed to make it work, do tell me. I’d be so interested about it.
